How far in advance should I book my red carpet look?
For Melbourne’s busiest seasons, spring racing, gala season, and end-of-year events, I recommend securing your appointment at least 3–6 weeks in advance, occasionally I may have a last minute spot available. My calendar is limited to ensure each client receives a premium experience, so early booking is always best. For interstate or international bookings a minimum of 3-6 months is required.
Can I book both hair and makeup together?
Yes, most of my red carpet clients book both hair and makeup so their look feels polished and complete from head to toe. Whether it’s soft curls, a hair up or voluminous waves, I’ll ensure your hairstyle complements your makeup perfectly.
Do you travel for red carpet bookings?
Absolutely. I offer both in-studio services in Hawthorn East, Melbourne and on-location. Interstate and international travel can also be arranged for VIP events upon request.
What sets a red carpet look apart from regular event makeup?
Red carpet styling isn’t just about looking beautiful, it’s about creating a look that is both visually stunning in real life and photographs flawlessly under any lighting. It’s about hair and makeup that lasts all night and that you feel confident wearing. After 25 years in the industry working with hundreds of clients, I understand this more than most Artists.
How long should I allow for my appointment?
For a full red carpet transformation, I recommend allowing:
1.5 hours for makeup (includes lashes)
1-1.5 hours for hair
How should I prepare for my Red Carpet booking?
For makeup appointments your skin must be exfoliated and hydrated for a flawless makeup application.
For hair styling appointments, arrive with clean and dry, product-free hair that has been lightly smoothed. If you have naturally curly or frizzy hair and you cannot lightly smooth your hair then ask about my hair prep and smooth service.
It is a good idea to wear a button shirt to change into your outfit without disturbing the hair and makeup.
Avoid lash extensions, or lash lifts, as false lashes will be applied during your makeup session. Ensure any facial hair removal is done at least 24 hours prior.
Bring an inspiration image of look you love. This helps me understand your style preferences during our consultation.
If you plan to wear hair extensions, please bring them with you. Ensure they washed, dried, lightly smoothed and product free.

National and international bookings available. To qualify for services at your location, I require a minimum of 3 full services per booking (not including prepping and children’s services), smaller bookings are conducted in my studio in Hawthorn East.
